Client owned a beauty boutique store that specialized in the niche of selling womens clothing and beauty supplies. Over the years the store has struggled to increase profit, mainly barely being able to turn a profit evenly. My team and I were brought in to show the client the potential growth attainable through Social Media Marketing. Client had never thought of having a marketing budget, so the financial resources that could be dedicated to marketing was limited
Design: Designed entire fashion store, implemented support options by integrating Facebook messenger. Imported more than 130+ products. Website allows for lead collection through opt in, easy assist messenger button on bottom, live updates of current customers purchasing. Mobile commerce website also designed with same functionality.
Back-end Functionality: Enabled the tracking of inventory through SKU numbers and live inventory updates based on orders shipped . Automatic taxes strategy implemented, calculated taxes state wide and shipping cost worldwide. Website supports Customer profile and accounts, email templates for after purchase. Custom variants (categorized based on color, material, etc)
Marketing: Handled every single advertisement put out. First month on the project, we took the store from $600 in revenue to over $4,300 within a 2 week period. Handled influencer ads that ran on Facebook and Snapchat. Ran Re-targeting campaigns on all platforms. Built mailing list to over 5000 from 40 using mailchimp. Created discount codes for multiple ad sets. Managed over 150 different types of ads ran by store.
Clients online presence was not very existent. Given the financial restrictions, we chose to put our efforts into building the client a customer base that they could target with little to no financial expense to themselves. When creating clients website, we showcased banners that pushed the clients most purchased in store items. Capitalizing on what was already working and not trying to waste money on testing.
Client was not capturing emails or running email campaigns, however they were collecting phone number but unfortunately not gaining permission to send text messages. Once we made some changes and started running ads, we built the client an email list they could target in the future without spending money on ads
We started with facebook ads, in addition to capturing customer emails from purchases and add to carts, we also capitalized on running ads that offered a reward (discount, buy one get one free etc) in return to entering your email.Once we had some solid sales from the ads generated, we moved into contacting influencers and negotiating prices to have them post ads we created and shoot videos using products we aimed to sell
This campaign generated a roughly 20k in sales.Hope this Case has added some value to your business and feel free to contact us if you need assistance!
